Frei Otto began his research on fabric and cable net as early as 1950's, he is the esrliest ancestor of tension structures.
Some of those books are available for buy,but the prices are very high for us.

Soft Shells also nice, I like it because there are many connection details in this book, it cost US$75. Do you really want to buy?
