A double layer membrane structure with insulation between the layers as the roof for a hotel lobby area was constructed recently.
  
The membrane is supported on the frame which consist of side beam, gutter beam, perimeter column and diagonal member below the beams and 2 nos of  internal column and a girder frame.
  
The outer fabric consist of 12 nos of cones. The projection area of outer fabric is about 44 X 31 metres. Underneath the outer fabric is the inner fabric,  it is having only 8 nos of cone with a projection area 22 X 24 metres.  
  
Material:          a fiber glass coated PTFE is used as a bearing structure.
