好像STAAD的截面库文件.mdb没有T型钢和双角钢截面的数据，去bentley的论坛看了一下，有人猜是因为T型钢和双角钢实际是一种“组合”截面，STAAD并没有单独给它们建库。（中国的T型钢除外）
我的问题是，从别的3D建模软件导出CIS文件用于生成STAAD时，需要做一个mapping file，是不是无法对应STAAD的T型钢和双角钢的名称？
（好像在STAAD文件中，比如说H型钢（W型钢）就是ST W8x53，而其对应的T型钢就是 T W8x53，但mdb数据库文件只有W8x53.）
望斑竹提供一个比较好的解决方法

可以自定义T型截面。

我查看了 STAAD Help Notes about CIS/2 import,

"The STAAD.Pro tool to import and export models with the CIS/2 translator has been enhanced to work with international models and transferring models into 3D modeling such as SmartPlant 3D.

Enhancements

The STAAD.Pro CIS/2 import now recognizes sections defined from standard databases such as those defined in Japanese, British, Indian, Australian and European tables.

The import/export has been enhanced to support the ability of STAAD.Pro to create double sections, such as back to back angles and channels or double wide flange sections. Additionally, it now supports the creation of T sections which are defined in STAAD.Pro as a wide flange section that is split at mid height."

我尝试了一下 SmartPlant 3D exporting a CIS/2 file, STAAD 确实能认出 T section 但仅仅限于AISC。对于 European, Australian 等等仍然不起作用。

在STAAD AISCsection.mdb 中T section 的名字举例来说, WT6x11是从 W12x22 cut出来的， 但在 European 中, "IPE200 Tee", STAAD 还是认不出的。.

在 STAAD 文本文件中你也可以发现,"WT6x11" 实际上表达为 "T W12x22", 而 "IPE200 Tee"表达为 "T IPE200".

这是否说明所谓的 CIS import/export 功能的加强是不是只适用于AISC 截面

所以我想了一个办法，修改AISC的mdb文件，STAAD既然就可以认出来了，典型的mdb文件修改如下：

这个Table中有两个name, Name 和StaadName，前面的Name是一个代号，后面是STAAD图形界面显示出来的名字，举例来说，W6X26是Name，而STAADName是HE180A,所以从HE180A截出来T型截面对应的就是WT3x13,这就启动了STAAD“计算”T型截面的“扳机”。

基本上这个问题现在就是这样解决的。
