Aims and scope  
  
  
  The aim of the journal is to provide an international forum for the interchange of information on all aspects of analysis, design and construction of space structures.  
  
The scope of the journal encompasses structures such as single-, double- and multi-layer grids, barrel vaults, domes, towers, folded plates, radar dishes, tensegrity structures, stressed skin assemblies, foldable structures, pneumatic systems and cable arrangements. No limitation on the type of material is imposed and the scope includes structures constructed in steel, aluminium, timber, concrete, plastics, paperboard and fabric. The journal aims at striking a balance between theory and practice and creating a platform for exchange of information between structural engineers, architects, civil engineering contractors, system manufacturers and research workers in academic and non-academic establishments.  
  
The journal includes regular reviews of technical publications, books and trade literature. Also included is information on recently built important space structures, recently held conferences and forthcoming events of interest.

Research paper can be find from relative journals(such as the International Journal of Structural Stability and Dynamics) and conference proccedings.
  
2nd International Conference on Structural Stability and Dynamics(16-18,Dec,2002,Singapore) call for papers now.
  
Authors are invited to submit 1-page abstracts in the above topics as soon as possible, but not later than the deadline shown below. The abstracts should clearly indicate the aims and conclusions of the studies. Both abstracts and final papers will be fully reviewed by experts in the areas of structural stability and dynamics and the procedure will conform to the standards required for refereed conference papers. Please note that by submitting a paper, you are committing to have at least one author to register for the conference if the paper is accepted.  
  
Technical session paper presentations will be 15 minutes in duration, including a few minutes question and answer period.
  
The proceedings of the conference will be published in book-form and made available to all participants at the conference. The official language of the conference is English.
    
Receipt of abstract: February 28, 2002  
Notification of acceptance: April 30 , 2002   
Submission of complete papers: July 31, 2002   
Deadline for early payment: August 31, 2002
