Beginning with an overview of the history of the technology, the book examines the role of each participant in the project from inception through completion. The advantages and disadvantages of various methods for shape determination and analysis are addressed, as are the connections be- between the various materials and the attachments to the sup-porting structure; patterning; and the erection of the structure.
